Hi, I’m Kaylee. Nice to see you here!
I started this blog as a way to connect with my community, and to share some of the amazing information I am learning from my studies as a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner student.
I have had a keen interest in all things health related for over 19 years, and like most people who enter this field, it stemmed from experiencing my own health challenges. Now that I’m getting a good handle on my own health through the help of some fantastic practitioners, and from the invaluable information I am learning from the Nutritional Therapy Association, I want to pay it forward and hopefully help others with their health journey.
Biologically, we are still hunter-gatherers, but we find ourselves in a modern time where there is a mismatch between our genes and our environment. If you take a good look around, you’ll see that we’re not doing too well as a species. Chronic disease is rampant, and occurs at an ever increasing younger age. Ancestral Health is a way to bridge the divide between chronic disease and thriving good health. There’s no one diet that’s perfect for everyone, but there are some basic guidelines that I’ll be discussing as time goes on. The road back to health begins with food, so that’s where I will start this blog – well, with one of the most nutrient-dense foods on the planet actually. Liver. Yes, I love liver that much!
Thanks for joining me on this journey!
Kaylee 🤗
